Wiki structure?

Is this an oxymoron?

Does a wiki have structure?
"The structure of wikis is shaped from within-not imposed from above." Brian Lamb

There are ways to add some structure to the wiki without compromising its wikiness. The home page of the wiki should have a basic introductory statement about the purpose of the wiki and also give instructions for finding information.
"Finding the right structure for your information is the secret sauce to making a wiki sing." Dan Woods and Peter Thoeny in Wikis for Dummies

"the secret sauce to making a wiki sing". Isn't that a mixed metaphor?
