What is TrueWikiness? What makes a wiki a wiki? Is it just the software used? Is it the community? Can one person create a wiki? Is it formatting, or lack there of?

Wikis are relatively new to all of us. We don't know what makes a wiki a wiki. We were told that this is a wiki, run with it. Delacour originally thought "wikis are bad." To us, wikis aren't neccessarily bad, but they are scary.

According to Brian Lamb:
Does Lamb define a wiki? Does he know what TrueWikiness is?

Wikipedia is the best known wiki, probably in the world. But we didn't know what a wiki was until we took Morgan's class. Is this going to be a standard in the New Media, will it be a fad or a standard in the future?
