Hanna Lulu's blog

I'm actually quite fond of the title. Any other generic "This is my blog" title would have been expected but Hanna Lulu just makes it work. I'm also intrigued by the interesting and random things you will find/have found on the internet. I mean, who doesn't love slightly organized chaos?

I like the about page--like the little controversial facts you gave about yourself. And definitely the cat thing. Cats are awesome. I also looked at your ideas page, which, if I was a passing blog reader and I read nothing but the ideas page, I would probably read your blog often.

I looked through all your blog posts, and there's certainly a lot of content here. I read several of the text blogs, clicked on a few links, and laughed out loud with my roommate at several of the picture blogs. I'm also quite a sarcastic person and enjoyed the tone of the writing very much.

There's several different topics that are brought up, which I enjoyed a lot. Several of the ideas listed in the ideas tab have been brought to light and have turned out interesting. I think one thing that bothered me though was the lack of poptart updates. There's only one link to a review under the Poptart Void tab, but in another blog there was a whole dump of Poptart reviews. I would suggest organizing these and putting the link to the blog with the reviews under the Poptart Void tab. At first I thought there was only one review, but that was not the case.

Alot of the later blogs have many more pictures than the earlier blogs. Personally I had no trouble with either of them since both picture and text blogs were interesting to me. The pictures are a nice break though, since sometimes I just don't feel like reading.

This is a well-done blog so far. The content is interesting and random enough to keep my attention and you've kept true to several of your proposal points. Well done.

So I won't lie. This project proposal is almost intimidating. There's a lot to be seen and read here, and that's intriguing, and also a little overwhelming for me.

I enjoyed the About section. You said you soaked up a lot of the music scene in Minneapolis, and you show that in your blog. Your love of music definitely shines through in this topic blog.

The blog is well organized, however. There's pictures and videos that break up the text nicely. I enjoy reading the blogs since the voice is clear and easy to understand. Unfortunately everything I'm reading is new to me--I'm not really up on today's music scene. I have to admit I've only heard of two or three bands mentioned....

Regardless of my lack of knowledge, this blog is well done. I enjoyed reading it even though I had no idea what half of the bands were. There's enough information to gain knowledge about your subject and at the same time, there's not too much. I rarely found myself overwhelmed or getting bored with subject matter. While under normal circumstances I wouldn't read or follow this blog, I'm certainly interested enough to keep reading now should you continue the project.

This blog stays true the project proposal and is full of info about music, which is exactly what you set out to do. You did an excellent job on this project--keep up the good work!

Sign Language

The proposal for this project is very thorough and descriptive. I'm not big on ASL myself but there is dedication to the language in here. You have plans for a lot of good interesting content that could become very useful. A wiki was a good choice for this project, no doubt.

At the wiki, I like the greeting at the top. Starting with history was a good choice and there's a lot of it. I'm actually kinda surprised myself.

There's a lot of links in this project which is a good sign. You definitely kept close to your proposal. I also thought the videos of the young people signing lyrics to modern music was a nice touch--to show how malleable and adaptive the language is.

I think one thing this could have in addition to all the information listed on the wiki is different pages of the wiki. Everyone is on one page and that's fine, but the history of sign language itself could use it's own page. I think I went to this project expecting to see several different topic pages on sign language. But maybe you've considered that and decided against it, and if so, disregard my ramblings. Other than that, I enjoyed reading through some of the different facts on sign language and I think so far your wiki is well put together.
