The front page seems to plain and blunt. I do like the bluntness, but I don't feel like there's anything to catch my eye except tiny words printed in Ariel(?) font. I do like that the front page contains something like a Mission Statement.
Is it at all possible to stick photos in your posts? For example, in your Michael Bay section, can we get a picture of him? I can't remember if wetpaint will let you do that or not. It would be awesome to put a face to a name.
(Again with the Michael Bay section) Very witty and clever writing! Very appealing to an audience. It flows very well.
What will be on the Transformer page? I hope you plan to work on that!
With a writing style like yours, it shouldn't be a problem to gather an audience quickly! Be sure to put this site out there. People will come!
You are very thorough with linking discussions. Not only have you created pages for all Steven Segal movies, but they are all conveniently located under that post.
Any chance you could post a picture of a movie poster along with each movie description? (I'm into visuals)
Thank. You! For the Twilight review. You have made my day. I wish there was some way you could enable comments on that. Release the blog to a bunch of pre-teen girls and see what happens.
This is probably going to be a DUH but this appears to be like 95% opinion. I admire that, but maybe include some sort of warning alluring to such in the mission statement on the first page? That might be nice. It's not fun to piss people off online when they aren't allowed to comment (my own opinion anyway).
Overall, this is a great page full of beautifully-illustrated opinions laced with a few facts for extra flavor. If possible, I would really like to see some images to go along with this. It would make the page pop out and catch your attention.
It looks like your blog is coming along nicely!
I love the first blog entry. Not only does the blog entice people who love coffee, but it also explains who's behind it. It's not some coffee snob sitting in a coffee shop in a suit and a notebook.
The recipes are an excellent idea. Including pictures really helps. They'll definitely make mouths water.
It's a very well-rounded blog. It's wonderful that you were able to include not just coffee house reviews but recipes and articles.
This site has a lot of good information about coffee. You organized your posts into categories perfectly and it makes the site easier to read. The layout works really well too. You have a well-developed blog roll. Keep on adding to it!
I'm not sure of blogspot will let you do this, but is it possible to have a catagory for your blogs? Ex: Recipe, article, advice, etc. It would make it a touch easier than to go through all the blogs. Then again, its a guarantee that most of the post will be read.
I'm just curious: are these recipes that you developed or that you collected?
Including your personal photos of the finished product really helps! It shows that "hey, this is really possible to do!" and not just words on a page.
The Twice-Baked potatoes look good!
This whole blog made me hungry. I'm going to go make a grilled cheese sandwich later. You're doing excellent work. I would say maybe organize your posts into categories if at all possible.
