Weblogs and wikis are occasionally lumped together, along with email and IM, chatrooms and discussion boards.But weblogs and wikis are different animals, with different affordances that make them useful for different purposes, involving different audiences in different ways, engaging different processes of writing, and different rhetorical strategies.
