WCW Syllabus

For 2015, we'll be using medium.com as an editing and publishing platform. If you want to get a start on things, set up a twitter account and a medium.com account.

The first course meeting is R, 15 Jan, 12:00 - 1:15, HS 109. New materials will come online each Thursday.

Thu 15 Jan

Medium.Com

We'll be working primarily not in a collective wiki space but in individual spaces on medium.com. BootCamp will ask you to set up a work space at medium and email the medium address to mmorgan@bemidjistate.edu. I'll add your space to this wiki page so we can use this page as a hub.

MakeMeThinkAboutLengthExercise. Reading and notes. Don't publish these notes. Leave them in draft. Do them over a number of days or sittings. As soon as you start the notes, post a link to them on the FB page so we can all get a sense of what everyone else is doing. The deadline for the notes is Wednesday, midnight. We'll review what we have on Thursday, and start considering how to handle an article.

Thur 5 Feb

We discussed in class collective notes on Price, chaps 5 - 6. Price's advice is found wanting. My notes for the class discussion are here: MorgansNotesOnTheLengthExercise.
