3 reader-writer relationship intros

Intimate and Friendly
Hi. My name is Colton Chadderdon. I am currently a college student living in northern Minnesota. I work for a landscape construction company in the summers doing hard labor. The hot-backbreaking work makes returning to school in the fall a godsend. During the school year I work in a kitchen as a cook. I live in Bemidji Minnesota and I love it. I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else. The fresh air, clear lakes, and lush vegetation in the summer make Bemidji both a scenic and pleasant place.
My passions in life involve almost everything in the outdoors from snowmobile and four-wheeler riding to kayaking and cliff jumping. Without a doubt my favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing. There is something about the pursuit of an animal that drives me to wake up early and come home late. It can be vexing at times but even after an unsuccessful day I never feel gypped. After all, any day spent outside is a day well spent and tomorrow I’ll be eager to try again.
Reading and writing are slowly taking up more and more time in my life. It shouldn’t be surprising, I am an English major now but I never thought I would be. I have a mild form of dyslexia so growing up reading and writing was, and sometimes still is, extremely challenging. But did anyone like reading as a kid? Always had a creative mind though so paint and pencil occupied my youth spent indoors. Growing up my reading improved and now I love it. On lazy afternoons I enjoy reading Robert Frost. The way he describes nature is so beautiful. Thanks for reading my intro.

Secluded
Colton Chadderdon is a Bemidji State University student majoring in Professional and Creative Writing BFA. During the summers he works at Lan-De-Con Co as a labor worker. Lan-De-Con is a landscaping company that plants trees, shrubs, and flowers. They set boulders, install vegetation beds, and even set lawn structures. Basically Lan-De-Con finishes and beautifies the exterior of a home. During the school year Colton works as a cook at Buffalo Wild Wings where he flips burgers, sauces chicken wings, and cleans. Colton enjoys snowmobiling, four wheeling, kayaking, cliff jumping, swimming, boating, snowboarding, longboarding, and sports. Colton’s favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing. His favorite hunting is ducks on a small-backwater pond. He goes most often on cloudy days when the birds fly low; this way they can see the decoy spread much easier and are often more willing to commit to landing close enough for a shot. Colton’s favorite species to fish for are black crappies when they are suspended in the basin of a lake. He uses euro larva as bait, usually putting two or three of them on a small-chartreuse tungsten jig. A lot of fishermen scoff at crappies as a pan fish, meaning they are only good to eat and not fun to catch. Colton will attest however that big fourteen to fifteen inch crappies fight just as hard and are just as fun to catch as walleye or other game fish. After collage Colton hopes to combine his passion for the outdoors and his creative writing skills to freelance for his favorite outdoor magazines such as Field and Stream, Outdoor News, and Ducks Unlimited.

Dishonest
My name is Colton Chadderdon. I am currently a college student living in northern Arizona. I work for a computer software company in the summers doing mostly coding. The endless staring at a computer screen all day makes returning to school in the fall a godsend. During the school year I work in the records office of my university. I live in Phoenix, AZ and I love it. I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else. The heat, dry dessert, and lack of wildlife make Phoenix both a scenic and pleasant place.
My passions in life involve almost everything indoors from video games and coding to watching T.V. and sitting on the couch. Without a doubt my favorite hobby is hacking. There is something about the pursuit of a file that drives me to wake up early and sleep on my keyboard. It can be vexing at times but even after an unsuccessful day I never feel gypped. After all, any day spent on the web is a day well spent and tomorrow I’ll be eager to try again.
Hacking and the internet in general are slowly taking up more and more time in my life. It shouldn’t be surprising, I am a computer science major now but I never thought I would be. I have a mild form of astigmatism so growing up reading and writing on the computer was, and sometimes still is, extremely challenging. But did anyone like computers as a kid? I always had a techy mind though so Gameboy occupied my youth. Growing up my astigmatism improved and now I love computers. On lazy afternoons I enjoy hacking to my hearts content.
