=====One Page Intro Notes=====

====Part 1: Observing====

===Visual Choices===
- first I took my name off of the top.
- Changed my title from "One Page Intro" to "A Little About Me."
- I added a picture of me starting a fire.
- I offset the picture to the right.
- I added to my first sentence Hello my name is Anthony Cole.
- I kept everything else in my body paragraph.
- I didn't change the font size except for the title, or the font type.
- I printed it in black and white, because the printer I used didn't have color.
- I resized the picture so that there would be no white space on the bottom of the page.
- I kept it not to personal, by not changing the content of the body paraghraph.
- I kept the ending the same.
- I related the picture to some of the subject material in the paragraph.

===Textual Choices===

- My sentences are all about the same length. None of them are very long.
- I used basic 8.5 x 11 inch computer paper. Because the printer I used would only print on that size paper.
- I used the basic default margins, because it didn't occur to me to change them on either one.
- I moved my name to the first paragraph from the upper right hand margin, because it seemed less formal.
- I kept one large paragraph, because I didn't think of breaking it up.
- I used black and white, because the printer only did black and white.
- I used straight lines for everything except the new title. I didn't think of changing the body paragraph at all, but I thought it would make the title more catchy.
- I put a picture in to fill up the page.

====Part 2: Considering====

1. I used the same material as I did for the first assignment, I changed the layout a little by adding a picture, and changing the way I did my title. I used the same words for a majority of the page, because I thought that that is what should be in an introduction.
2. I didn't change any of the paragraph, except I added Hello my name is Anthony Cole, to the begining sentence. I did this, because I took my name out of the margin, and I thought it was a little less informal.
3. I made the look of my document less formal, but kept some formality in it by not telling embarrassing stories, or extremely persosnal information. I just gave a brief history, and said some things I like to do. The picture doesn't take away any credibility, it might add some. By showing that I acctually do go camping, which is one of the things that I said I do.
4. I ran into difficulty, because the printer I used didn't print in color, and also I didn't have photoshop on my computer at home were I worked on this project, which would have enabled me to manipulate the page more.
5. I wasn't in control of the resources I had on my computer, at the time I didn't this. I wish that I would have had the time to go into the lab at school and work with photoshop.
6. I feel successful with the second introduction, because it is a little less formal, more interesting to look at, but it still holds credibility. It itroduces a little bit of where I come from, what I like to do, what I have acomplished, and what I would like to achieve in the future.
Deletions:
=====One Page Intro=====
I am studying model design here at Bemidji State University. My dream job after I graduate from a master’s program in University of North Dakota, would be to become an architect. If I am unable to get an architecture job I would like to be an civil engineer, or a prototype designer. I am from Brainerd only 100 miles south from Bemidji. I was very involved in boy scouts as a kid, and achieved the highest award, the Eagle Scout Award. I was the president of two 4-H clubs, played basketball and guitar. I did various volunteer projects including Habitat for Humanity and church projects. I enjoy working with my hands. Whether it is drawing designs for a piece of furniture, or actually constructing that furniture. I love to listen to music. When I was in middle school, I built my own stereo. It took me a whole year just to save up and buy all of the components I needed to build it. I have added to my stereo since the original, and now my stereo system is 8,600 watts, and has almost 40 different speakers. I love spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping. My dad and I go fishing all of the time, including a fishing trip to Canada every year. I also do a lot of camping with my family and friends.
